MaidEnergy are always on the lookout for sites where we can cut carbon, help community groups and make a fair return for our members’ investment. 

We would like more opportunities for renewable heat. The government’s Renewable Heat Incentive closes in March 2021, but they expect to replace it, though probably with lower payments. If your school or community organisation has a building with land you have the right to dig on, and no underground services, please get in touch.

We’re looking for more solar sites too. If your school or community organisation has a big roof that might be suitable for solar, or un-shaded land for ground-mounted solar, we’d also love to hear from you. Sadly the government have closed the solar Feed-in Tariff, so smaller projects are unlikely to make viable investments at the moment, but larger ones can work well.
