So why should you invest in this project?
The world needs more green energy to replace fossil fuels as an energy source. As a local investor, you have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on your community by supporting locally owned renewable energy that will benefit both the environment and the local economy. Investing in MaidEnergy’s community share schemes will provide returns to shareholders, with surplus funds put towards future projects.
Moreover, by investing in this latest share offer, you will be supporting the provision of education to young people at Furze Platt School by reducing the school's energy bills. The school will receive a donation of shares in MaidEnergy, which will provide future income from interest payments and a cash benefit when the school requests to withdraw its share capital. MaidEnergy is even offering to donate the panels to the site after 15 years.
In addition, by buying shares, investors will join MaidEnergy in financing new installations, expanding the impact of renewable energy within the local community. MaidEnergy has already financed and installed solar panels on seven community buildings, generating income from sales of power and the Feed-in Tariff for renewable energy.
